Our Network of Support: Ambassador Swanee Hunt

Over the next three years, through Ambassador Hunt’s generosity, Parenting Journey will receive $575,000 to enhance our mission to the community that we serve.

“We are so delighted to have received this amazing donation from Ambassador Swanee Hunt, Parenting Journey Executive Director Maury Peterson said. “It is one that will go a very long way in enabling us to replicate our work in cities beyond Massachusetts, spreading Parenting Journey’s innovative programs to help parents build safer, stronger families.

“Ambassador Hunt is a woman whom I deeply admire,” Peterson continued. “She has been a lifelong supporter of mental-health reform, served as U.S. Ambassador to Austria under President Clinton, and lectures at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

“Her passion and support of initiatives that empower women and assist the leaders of social movements all over the world are so inspiring, and we are very grateful for her support and encouragement.”
