We were so inspired by the powerful conversations at our second annual Social & Family Justice Institute that we want to share some takeaways.
Parenting Journey isn’t the only one standing up to racism – we have a dedicated network of partners who joined us for the conversation and are working alongside us.
We heard from nine leaders who are taking bold steps to level the playing field to uplift families and build stronger communities. They are bringing people together, amplifying stories, and advancing policy and electoral reforms that will level the playing field.
We honored Rep. Jim O’Day — our 2019 Legislator of the Year — who is a social worker first, which informs the issues he fights for on Beacon Hill.
Each of us has a role to play. Together, we can stand up to racism and build civic engagement to strengthen our communities.
