Parenting Journey was honored to provide the keynote presentation at the ABCD Head Start Parent Recognition & Training Breakfast on May 12. The ABCD Head Start Parent Recognition & Training Breakfast honored dozens of parents from Head Start sites across Boston for their outstanding volunteer efforts over the past year. Maury Peterson, Parenting Journey’s Executive Director, shared Parenting Journey’s enthusiasm to participate at this event: “We are delighted to be here today. ABCD Head Start & Early Head Start is one of our strongest partners, offering the Parenting Journey program to families at 14 sites across Greater Boston.” Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) is Boston’s antipoverty agency, serving more than 95,000 low-income Greater Boston residents annually through its city-wide network of neighborhood-based organizations.
