Parenting Journey in Recovery

Learn how to help parents experiencing addiction build positive relationships with their children while maintaining their recovery

What you’ll learn:

Parents and caregivers living with addiction face additional challenges when building strong, positive relationships with their children. Parenting Journey in Recovery equips parents with the tools and resources needed to navigate parenting as well as the recovery process with confidence, fostering a positive environment for both parent and child by providing a valuable source of fellowship and support. As the facilitator, you will help your group members explore past and present patterns of emotional regulation and thoughts and behaviors related to addiction that influence their choices. Personal recovery, accountability, positive actions, and improved communication, are among the many topics discussed in a caring setting.

Parenting in Recovery facilitator trainings are available in our standard 5-day format.

The fee includes the training and access to a digital facilitator toolkit which includes the group curriculum, materials, and other resources.
